Windsor was started in 1937 by two brothers and their mission was to create a women’s clothing oasis and the company must be doing something right if they’re still in business and thriving. We are sure Windsor’s return policy is one of many reasons their customers keep coming back.

Online Returns & Refunds 

Windsor Return Policy – USA

Start here to return an item in the United States. Then, purchase a new replacement online. If the item you want isn’t available online, please visit a Windsor store nearest you. When your return is processed your refund we will sent back to your original form of payment.

  • 30 day return window (starting from purchase ship date) for eligible items.
  • There is a 14-day window (window starts from original ship date) for returns on special occasion and formal dressesn.

Not surprisingly, like other clothing retailers, the Windsor return policy has the following stipulations for returns:

  • No worn, washed or items with signs of wear can be returned. Items must also have all tags attached.
  • The same for swimwear plus the swimsuit liner needs to be attached.
  • No final, clearance or promotional items can be returned.
  • 30% discounted items and “final sale” merchandise can be returned.
  • Undergarments (lingerie, bras & panties), pasties, earrings, face masks, cosmetics may not be returned.
  • You must report missing or damaged items within 7 days of receipt of your order.

Windsor’s Exchange Policy 

Windsor’s exchange process starts with their website. As with returning items, exchanging them is the same process as you’ll order a replacement online. If the item isn’t available online, go to a Windsor store nearest you.  A refund will be issued back to the original payment method used.

Retail Store Refunds & Exchanges

The exchanging of merchadise requires that the return is first processed and then selecting a new item for the exchange. Of course your exchange must meet the Windsor return policy guidelines above.

A great incentive to visit a Windsor nearest you is that all returns are FREE of CHARGE. Special occasion dresses must be returned within 14 days and regular items must be returned within 30 days for the purchase date.

Please keep in mind that customers purchasing items using Zip Pay will still be charged for any outstanding balances.

How do I get my refund?

Customers sending eligible and verified returns via FedEx with a prepaid label will be issued a refund back to their original payment method minus $7.95 for the return label cost. Refunds can take up to two weeks to process.

Can online orders be returned to a store?

Windor’s return policy does allow for some eligible items that are purchased online to be returned to a store for either a refund or an exchange. The item(s) must be returned within 14 days of the order’s original shipped date however.

Note: Sale or clearance items discounted 30% or more cannot be returned.

The items that can be returned to a store if purchased online include:

  • Regularly priced items – items must be returned within 30 days and will customer will receive a store credit.
  • Most items – items must be returned with 14 days and a full refund will be issued to the original payment method used.

Remember, items that fit the “no returns” stipulations above will not be eligible for any type of refund or exchange.

The Windsor return policy is typical and fair with the alloted time for returns being 14 and 30 days depending the items and whether a return is for refund or an exchange.

Windsor has stores at more than 300 locations so returning items to a store and saving the $7.95 on a return shipping label is an option for many people. Unfortunately, those of you who don’t live near a Windsor store will have to return items via FedEx and incur the cost albeit minimal.
